Today’s Daily Call to Action: ACT NOW TO REFORM MARYLAND’S INHUMANE USE OF SOLITARY CONFINEMENT

Maryland must reform the inhumane practice of solitary confinement. Pass HB 786!

Solitary confinement is cruel and should be unusual in Maryland. Instead, it’s used at twice the national average. And in 2016 persons were spending an average of two months in “restrictive housing.”

Tell members of Maryland’s House Judiciary Committee to support solitary confinement reform and please share this post.
