With shocking tragedies like the one captured of the police shooting of Stephon Clark this year’s For Kathy’s Sake, Inc. is sponsoring a FREE FORUM AND BRUNCH for those interested in laying the much needed ground work in Maryland for Civilian Oversight Boards. My friends, we NEED POLICE ACCOUNTABILITY AND TRANSPARENCY IN ALL AREAS and we need neutral parties that are fully EMPOWERED to hear both sides.
Therefore, we invite you and or a representative to attend and let us hear your thoughts. Present and leading the discussion will be Amy Cruice of the ACLU and Carl Snowden of the Caucus of African American Leaders. Won’t you please join us as we explore the need for effective Civilian Oversight Boards in the State of Maryland and prepare for the upcoming January legislative session.
If you have been impacted personally then you understand that this is serious and affecting families across this nation daily. This event is also inspired by the Maryland families of Demitruis Lamar Hall, Kelly McGraw, Katherine Sarah Morris, Dashaun Wells, and Eddie Woods, just to name a few. Help us spread the word for together we can conquer giants, so register your attendance today.
