FreeState Justice Listening Sessions
FreeState Justice, a social justice organization that works to improve the lives of LGBTQ Marylanders through legal services and advocacy, conducted a listening tour in preparation for the 2019 session of the Maryland General Assembly. WISE partnered with FreeState Justice, the AACC Gender and Sexuality Studies Program, and the AACC Rainbow Network to host a House Meeting in Anne Arundel County to hear from the community and have a say in FreeState Justice’s advocacy agenda for 2019. The findings of the listening sessions from across the state are below.
