Tuesday May 21, 2019 6:00-9:00 p.m. White Ally Toolkit Workshop: Dismantling Racism One Conversation at a Time at the Ark & Dove Presbyterian Church, 8424 Piney Orchard Pkwy, Odenton, MD. “This workshop is being presented by Dr. David Campt from the White Ally Toolkit and co-sponsored by the Maryland Coming to the Table Local Groups (Annapolis, Harford County, and Montgomery County) and Showing Up for Racial Justice Annapolis and Anne Arundel County (SURJ 3A). This is a skill-based workshop for having more productive and effective conversations with white friends, neighbors, and relatives. Join Dr. David Campt for a 3 hour training for specific skills for engaging in difficult conversations with those whom you may disagree about race and racism in America. Dr. Campt is the author of the White Ally Toolkit Workbook and the Compassionate Warrior Boot Camp, both designed to equip and empower white allies in the fight against racism. Dr. Campt has over 25 years experience working in conflict resolution and as a dialogue expert helping people have more effective conversations. His method will help you engage in fruitful conversations with co-workers, family  members, and neighbors to move America forward. Registration is required.
