Andrea Chamblee: One year after John’s death, we demand action on gun violence

This week marks one year since the horrific attack at the Capital Gazette and the murder of Gerald Fischman, Rob Hiaasen, John McNamara, Rebecca Smith, and Wendi Winters.

In the year since, Andre Chamblee, John McNamara’s wife, has been fighting for policy to protect others from the pain of gun violence. Please read her latest writing in the Capital Gazette which details her journey in the past year and how difficult it has been to get meaningful gun control policies passed in Maryland.
