International Embassies Open House – FREE (Save the Date)

May 5 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Visit embassies for FREE with Washington, DC History & Culture as we once again participate in the “Around the World Embassy Tour.” This is one of our favorite and most popular events of the year.

How does it work? We meet as a group at a central point such as a Metro station, and then spend a fun-filled day visiting several different embassies. Along the way you’ll meet interesting people and soak up the sights, sounds and tastes from a variety of international cultures.

For now, this is a “save the date” type announcement and we will provide more specific details as we get closer to the event date. The “Around the World Embassy Tour” is organized by our friends at “Cultural Tourism DC” (web link below).

Around the World Embassy Tour Returns May 5, 2018!

More than 40 embassies will open their doors to DC visitors and residents Saturday, May 5, 2018. Participants can travel the world as they experience the food, art, dance, fashion, and music of different countries. In the past, visitors have been treated to karate demonstrations, dance performances, sari wrapping lessons, and henna demonstrations.
