Women’s Issues

Our Mission

Our Women’s Issues Huddle led the charge of advocates for women’s rights and their access to healthcare and abortion services in Annapolis on Saturday, October 2. As part of a national day to defend abortion rights with rallies occurring nationwide, Maryland elected officials and leading advocates spoke out against the recent Texas six-week abortion ban and other states’ unconstitutional efforts to ban access to abortion services. 

This legislative session we will be focused on supporting legislation to ban child marriage in Maryland, and legislation to expand and protect reproductive rights. If you would like to join the Women’s Issues Huddle, please email MarylandWISEWomen@gmail.com.
